Weekly Reflection of School Internship Programme Phase 2

As per B.Ed curriculum, our second phase of school internship programme for 30 days has started on 05/07/2022.We are assigned to practice at A.P.H.S.S Adichanalloor.There were six of us from our college, in which four of us are from English.I completed 4 lesson plans in the first week.
Rajmohan sir gave all guidance to us and conveyed wishes for our internship phase. Rajmohan sir is the English teacher and he introduced me to students. I got eighth standard. Firstly I make a friendly talk with students and taught the lesson 'A shipwrecked sailor' by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.I applied my own style by creating a good rapport at first and then showed many pictures and also used adequate teaching aids.
Everyday I found my training interesting and it was a new experience.It was a good day

15/8/2022-20/8/2022 This was the last week of school internship phase 2. We reached school in time Everyone of us are sas and didn't want to leave the school.Rajmohan sir sponsored a cake for us At the interval there was a meeting in the staffroom as a part of our send off.All the teachers regarded wishes us to become a fabulous teachers.I distributed chocolates to students.It was very painful to leave the school.This teaching practice was an unforgettable moment in my life.It also gave as a number of memories and some true bonds.

6th week@ school (8/08/2022-12/08/2022)

I completed seventh week of teaching practice.This week I completed 4 lesson plans.I started the short story 'The little round red house'.I gave them various activities and taught with the help of ict.Students have a great curiosity in hearing story.They all listened carefully.This was a story about a boy and they all responded well.There was a discussion about the independence day programme and a small assembly of students.Then selected some students so as to be Gandhiji,Nehru,bharathmatha and so on.We helped to make placards and gave them how to make it.

Second week of school internship phase 2

11/07/2022 to 18/07/2022   The second week of teaching practice started from 11th July and it was a nice week in school.Now we are not just B.Ed trainees, we feel like as we all are teachers of the school. We all closely watched every programmes and competition conducted in the programme and they also make sure that we are involved in it.I completed four lesson plan in this week.   We also take the substitution periods and make students engaged in activities.The six of us helped in serving meal for the students in school.There was an assembly conducted in this week, we helped to maintain the discipline of students and arrange them in queue.Each class was conducting an assembly and students actively arranged the programmes.        After finishing the particular days portions,I have them homework and activity was done in class itself.
